Talk with your Aloha Pools builder about installing safety devices, such as pool surface alarms, safety covers and child safety barriers. You should have a gated, locked fence surrounding your pool area that complies with National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI) guidelines, as well was with your local building and safety codes. Safety ropes should always be used.

Smart pool owners always think safety first. They take specific steps to insure their family, friends and guests are knowledgable in the safe and sensible use of the swimming pool. They urge these people not to use the pool if alcohol, drugs or stimulants are being used that would impair their abilities.

With your Aloha Pool, you'll receive a Consumer Information Package, including:

• Pool Owners Safety Handbook
• APSP "Sensible Way" Book
• "Children Aren't Waterproof" Book
• Plaque
• "Notice" Card
• Vinyl Swimming Pool Liner Warranty
• "No Diving" Labels

Aloha Pools strongly recommends the use and careful placement of all safety stickers and signs included in your Pacific Pool Owner's safety kit.

It's also a good idea to contact your local American Red Cross for available CPR courses and other vital safety programs.
